Succeeding in Academia: Writing, Presenting, Publishing In-Person
Dr. Gregory Claeys will offer general principles for writing dissertations, extended essays and writing in general. Graduate students will learn how to prepare and give conference presentations as well as learn conference etiquette tips. Dr. Claeys will provide guidelines and strategies for publishing in the Social Sciences and Humanities.
Dr. Claeys is Professor of the History of Political Thought at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is the author of eight books and numerous journal articles and editor of The Cambridge Companion to Utopian Literature, The Cambridge History of Political Thought, as well as some fifty volumes of primary sources and edited essays.
