GIS Day: Intro to ArcGIS: Public Health & Residential Locations In-Person
Participants in this hands-on workshop will learn how to use the ArcGIS Community Analyst to measure the potential health impact of living closer to public parks and other recreational facilities. Each participant will select a city to analyze and then use overlay analysis to calculate a public health score for each Census Tract. Finally, a determination will be made whether residences closer to public parks have a higher health score than those further away.
