Baylor Alumnae: Leading Texas Libraries

Baylor Alumnae: Leading Texas Libraries In-Person

Baylor's Lori Fogleman will interview Gloria Meraz and Mary Woodard, two Baylor alumnae who currently hold the highest offices in librarianship in Texas. Meraz graduated from Baylor in Museum Studies in 1990 and is the Director and Librarian at the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. Woodard completed her Baylor degree in Elementary Education and English in 1985 and currently serves as President of the Texas Library Association. The conversation will explore the impact of Baylor on their careers, the current state of libraries and the effect on education, and the future of Texas libraries. This event is free and open to the public. Conversation and reception will follow.
