Description: This hands-on introduction to survey design and Qualtrics will cover how to best create and design a survey utilizing the program Qualtrics. Topics will include considerations and best practices for question and response writing, choosing the best format for your question (e.g., multiple choice, "select all that apply," text entry, etc.), how to structure your survey, how to build your survey in Qualtrics, how to utilize the various features of Qualtrics to improve/fine-tune your survey, and how to launch your survey.
 

Goal: The goal of this workshop is to teach participants the basics of survey design, best practices for designing survey questionnaires, and how to build and launch a survey using Qualtrics. 

Outcome: Participants will be able to: 1.) Demonstrate best-practice guidelines while writing survey questions and responses, 2.) Build and edit their own survey questionnaire in Qualtrics, and 3.) Successfully launch their survey.
