Wings Across America Collection Celebration Luncheon In-Person

Please join us in celebrating the legacy of the Women Airforce Service Pilots and the work of Wings Across America. Inspired by her mother, WASP pilot Deanie Bishop Parrish, Nancy Parrish began an extensive effort to preserve the stories of these trailblazing women after discovering how little of their history had been recorded.

That work became Wings Across America, a nonprofit digital history project launched over twenty-five years ago that recorded interviews with over 100 WASP. This event also celebrates the collection being added to the holdings of the Institute for Oral History.
