Test Design, Integrity, & Accommodations [Broadcast step]

Test Design, Integrity, & Accommodations [Broadcast step]

Assessment in the online learning world can look different, but just as beneficial as in-person testing. This session will cover three key ways you can make it a successful experience for your students. First, we will explore the nature of testing and its purpose which can influence our decisions about promoting Christian principles, integrating authentic problem solving, and embracing trust to combat perceived cheating issues. Then we will take a practical look at ways you can setup Canvas quizzes to control testing variables such as timing, question sequence, and attempt limits. Finally, we will address simple ways you can help students who have accommodation needs by altering individual parameters within Canvas and considering universal design principles that positively affect all students. Join us for this informative presentation and bring your questions as well!
