Python Beginner Workshop: Mining Spotify Playlists In-Person
Description
This workshop will introduce attendees to the basics of python coding and how it can be use for research in the humanities. These basics will demonstrate the format for the code as well as simple functions such as, print, input, and loops. The workshop will conclude with an example of how to adapt a code that has already been written, using a Spotify data collection code. No prior experience in Python is required, but bring your laptop so you can follow along! (Laptops with Windows will be available.)
